About the Port Townsend Antique Mall

The Port Townsend Antique Mall has been selling antiques and collectibles in Port Townsend for over thirty years.  The original concept of the Mall was developed and operated by Bill and Kitty Sperry.  The Mall was then purchased by the current owner’s Frank and Mary Paoli in 2001.  The Paoli’s previously owned and operated Undertown Antiques off Taylor and Water streets beginning in 1992.

Frank’s passion for collecting began at an early age when his mother Jean (an avid collector)  asked him to help her pick up a large piece she had recently purchased at a sale.  “Mom showed me around and began to tell me what was what, it’s value and why, and honestly, I’ve been hooked ever since”.  Frank and Mary with Mom leading the way began a long history of picking and junkin’ together which continued until her passing.  “Mom would be so proud of what we’ve accomplished and continuing her love for antiques and collectibles”.

The Antique Mall, located at 802 Washington St., features more than 15,000 feet of retail space on two floors, housing over 40 of the finest antique dealers on the Olympic Peninsula. For years the Mall has been voted Best Antiques on the Peninsula earning first place in a regional competition. The Antique Mall also recently placed in the top five of Seattle KING-TV’s “Best of the Northwest Escapes” contest for antique shopping.

Paoli attributes the success of the Antique Mall to his employees, who strive to keep the store looking its best. He said people often compliment him on having an exceptionally friendly and well-informed staff. He also thanks his loyal vendors, who continually bring in new and exciting inventory to keep the store looking in tip-top shape!
